By downloading, installing, or using the PuttrLab iOS application ("App") or accessing the PuttrLab website ("Website"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App or Website.
PuttrLab provides a mobile application that uses your iPhone's camera to track a visual marker attached to a putter head and calculate putting stroke metrics. The App is available as a free download with an optional one-time in-app purchase to unlock the Pro tier.
PuttrLab also provides a free, printable tracking marker for use with the App, available for download on the Website.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the PuttrLab App on any Apple device that you own or control, subject to Apple's App Store Terms of Service. This license does not allow you to:
The PuttrLab App is available as a free download through the Apple App Store.
Pro features can be unlocked through a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase processed through the Apple App Store. The Pro upgrade is tied to the Apple ID used to make the purchase and can be restored on any Apple device signed in to that Apple ID. All in-app purchases, billing, and refunds are governed by Apple's App Store policies.

Refunds for the PuttrLab Pro in-app purchase are handled by Apple through the App Store. Please contact Apple Support for refund requests.
PuttrLab provides putting stroke metrics for practice and training purposes only. While we strive for accuracy, metric calculations depend on proper setup, including marker placement, tripod positioning, lighting conditions, and camera quality. PuttrLab does not guarantee the accuracy of any specific measurement and should not be relied upon as a professional coaching tool or for competitive purposes. Results may vary based on setup conditions.
Coaching tips and drill recommendations provided to PuttrLab Pro users are general guidance based on common putting instruction principles, generated automatically from your session metrics. They are not a substitute for personalized instruction from a qualified golf professional. Use at your own discretion.
All content, trademarks, logos, and intellectual property associated with PuttrLab are owned by PuttrLab. You may not use our branding, logos, or content without prior written permission. The PuttrLab App includes open-source software components; see our Licenses page for details.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PuttrLab and its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App or Website. This includes, without limitation, damages for loss of data, loss of profits, or personal injury. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to PuttrLab in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Golf is a physical activity. You assume all risks associated with practicing putting while using PuttrLab, including but not limited to the risk of physical injury. PuttrLab is not responsible for any injury or property damage that occurs during use of the App.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the App or Website after any modification constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
